I live in Garson On which is now part of the Greater city of Sudbury. I am married to a beautiful and understanding wife Jennifer and have one son Christopher. I love to fish and consider myself a multi species fisherman. My tournament season I take part in the Top 50 Pike Series Tournament Trail and also fish the occasional Temiskaming Smallmouth Bass tourney stops. I also specialize in remote lake trips accessing by atv or portaging to secluded lakes in Northern Ontario. Our target species on these trips are Brook Trout, Lake Trout and Splake.

I have been fishing since I could hold a rod and reel and I have been tournament fishing competitively for over 11 years. As my home is in Keswick, Ontario I can usually be found out on Lake Simcoe or on one of the Kawartha lakes taking in the phenomenal fishing these bodies of water have to offer. I grew up in Northern Ontario and have a definite love for the outdoors and fishing. I have a beautiful wife Sandra and 2 great kiddies Cassandra and Riley. Alvin Tung caused quite a splash bursting onto the Canadian professional fishing scene in the last few seasons with many top finishes in competitions across Ontario, Quebec and the Northern States. Tips :

1. Spend as much time on the water as possible, and pay attention to details. Making notes on weather conditions (temperature, wind direction, sun/ cloud cover) and habitat (water clarity, bottom type, vegetation, depth) are key factors in being successful on the water.
2. Never underestimate the importance of electronics for helping put fish in the boat. Today's electronics offer important information such as surface temperature, speed, bottom hardness, and GPS coordinates.
3. Consider using a commercial scent or fish attractant on your lures. Anglers often get careless and leave human scents on their baits (gas, tobacco, sunscreen) which can deter fish from striking aggressively.
4. Invest in a good pair of polarized fishing glasses. Polarized glasses dramatically reduce glare from the sun and allow anglers to see fish, structure and navigational hazards with ease.
